Blacksmithing Workshops

We provide training during which participants learn the interesting art of blacksmithing from scratch or deepen their existing skills in this field. It is both theoretical and practical and an interactive experience that includes learning various metalworking techniques, designing and creating a variety of objects, from tools to artistic works.

Beginning blacksmith training participants can start with theoretical training and learn basic techniques such as heating and forging metal, forming, stamping and finishing. Instructors will also often present basic blacksmithing tools and equipment and discuss safety rules related to working with hot metal.

As training progresses, participants have the opportunity to experiment with different types of metal, blacksmithing techniques and tools to develop their skills.
