The history of blacksmithing goes back to ancient times, and the blacksmith’s craft played an important role in the development of human civilization. The origins of blacksmithing can be dated back thousands of years BC, when people discovered that metalworking could lead to the creation of useful tools and weapons. Originally, blacksmiths used a simple method, topped with heated stones, to shape metal. However, as time passed and technology advanced, blacksmithing techniques became more and more sophisticated.<\/p>\n
In ancient Egypt, blacksmithing was widely practiced, and the Egyptian blacksmith Ptah was considered the patron saint of all craftsmen. The Egyptians were known for producing weapons, agricultural tools, and metal ornaments. Similarly, in ancient Greece, blacksmithing had an important place in society. Many Greek gods, such as Hephaestus, personified the craft of blacksmithing.<\/p>\n

5. Anvils: Anvils are special tables on which blacksmiths place metal for forging. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and some come with additional features such as water cooling systems.<\/p>\n
6. Heat Treating Furnaces: Modern heat treating furnaces are used to heat metal to appropriate temperatures so that it can be forged and formed. These may be wood-, coal-, gas-fired or electric induction stoves.<\/p>\n

As a blacksmith shop, we specialize in hot metal processing using both classic and modern metal processing methods. Our well-equipped workshop allows us to produce, among others, the following products:
